I class we made our fair project our one is fishing tackle. We made a thing so you can use whole bait while fish and it can change the size of your bait.

Hit and Kick

During maths we made shapes in class. Level 1 is you keep it hitting it before it hits the ground, Level 2 is the same but with kicking, Level 3  is you hit it then kick it till it hits the ground.

The sky is a fire ball

The sun is a sizzling lightbulb

Its like a touch shining a path.  
It is the fire cooking up earth.

We did this poem to learn about describing words.

Marie

On Wednesday our school went on a Marie trip. We were told stories and we were taught a game. After a little while we had morning tea and we got Milo biscuit and scones. Then we played outside. The Year 5 and 6 did a haka.

How to make an Eel line.

Materials:

Hand caster, line, 4oz sinker, a hook of you choice (works best with small hook), Braid(optional), 2 swivels and 1 clip-on swivel.

Goal:Set up and eel line and catch an eel

In this Procedural writing you will learn how to set up an eel line to catch eels or other fish

Rap your line around the hand caster.

Then tie on a swivel to the line on the hand caster.

Get 35cm of braid or line and cut into 15cm and 20cm.

Tie the 20cm braid or line on the clip on swivel.

Hold the line and slide the the sinker down it.

Tie the lasts swivel on the 15cm and 20cm braid or line.

The tie your hook on the 20cm braid or line.

Clip the clip on swivel to the swivel on the hand caster.

Head to your local creek with your bait and try catching an eel.

Cast the hand line in to water that has no current.

If you catch one release it, use it for bait or eat it.

Fair Product

In class we have grouped up to design a product to sell at our school fair. Aiden, Harrison and I have come together to design a Bottle fish trap.  We are going to make them out of old bottles.  We hope they will catch bait or small fish. They will come with a line attached so the bottle can be pulled in.

Fish'n'chip Pie

First your need to blend you fish in tiny pieces with you Potatoes. Make sure to put you lemon juice and salt in. Blend you soft

Once done put you mixture in the pie shaper.

Place your pie in the freezer.

The next day place in oven for 15-25 minutes at 80 degrees Celsius.

Next your take out your food and let it cool down.

Next you enjoy your meal.

INGREDIENTS:
Fish(of your choice)
Potatoes 

1 teaspoon of salt
Slice of lemon
Pie shaper

Pūmanawa

For Pūmanawa I got the cartooning and drawing class. In this I am learning how to draw animated and realistic. This was my first choice for Pūmanama and I drew two picture so far on was a Moray Eel and The other was a combination f a centipede and a Moray Eel I called it a Moray Centaeel.

Baking Sale

Today at schol we had a baking sale. I had 2 dallors to spend. I brought about 3 or 4 things. They had some really good food.

My First Pixel Fish

This Pixel Fish I did with Harrison and Aiden. It took about 30 minutes. This was the image that inspired us to do it.

Science Project

On Friday and Monday we did a water filter project. There were four options bark, sand, cotton balls and paper towls, we use sand, cotton balls and paper towls. My partner is Aiden Pool

My Pet Egg

Last week we looked after eggs. The point of this was to see how hard it is to look after something alive. Mine lived for the whole and at the end I dropped it from a high place to its death.

Country Study

In Room 5 we did a country study. We study some special people from the country and had to suggest three main places to visit. It was very fun to do, I enjoyed finding place in Cuba and finding new facts. I chose Cuba because I like the country and I want to go there. 

Chess

Today I did a Chess competition. I won 3/6 games. I was in the A team and was the captain.

At school a new playground is being built. It has monkey bars and some weird climbing thing, and exercise-equipment.😎
